What are the ticket office hours?

Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm. The office is closed on the weekends. Internet sales are available at 24 hours a day, seven days a week as available.

Note: “Advance Ticket” sales for an event at 11:59PM the night before a home football or men’s basketball game. After that, tickets will increase slightly in price for the day of the game.

How do I get to the athletic ticket office?

The main ticket office is located at the front of the Memorial & Athletic Convocation (MAC) Center at 1025 Risman Drive in Kent, OH. When walking into the office to purchase tickets, fans may park in the Visitors Pay Lot right in front of the arena, or in the parking lot across Summit Street located next to the Schwartz Center.

Does the ticket office send out order confirmations?

Ticket order confirmations are not mailed, but you will receive a six-letter order confirmation email after your order is complete. You may also contact the ticket office for verification of your order at 330-672-4455 or

What do I do if I have a ticket problem (i.e. lost tickets) and the ticket office is closed?

Kent State athletics has moved to the e-ticket format in order to make the purchase and transferring process easier for our fans! If you ever need to access your tickets, you can log in at our home page and click “Your Orders” to view any tickets on your account.

If the physical tickets have been lost or stolen, please go to the ticket office will call (of the event) and an available ticket representative will be able to assist you. If you are not the ticket holder, please bring documentation from the original ticket holder authorizing you to have access to those specific tickets.

Does a baby/child need a ticket?

Children age five and under will be admitted free to the following Kent State athletic home events:

  • Football
  • Volleyball
  • Men's & Women's Basketball
  • Gymnastics
  • Wrestling
  • Indoor Track & Field
  • Baseball

Ticket policies for select events (including NCAA and hosted Mid-American postseason competitions) are subject to change.

Is it safe to purchase a ticket from people outside the stadium/arena?

Tickets not purchased through the Kent State Athletics Ticket Office or through the University's authorized agents are not considered valid and the holder may be denied admission or ejected. TicketSmarter is the only authorized site through which a resale of tickets may be conducted. Tickets cannot be used for third party contests or sweepstakes without approval by the Kent State University Athletic Department.

Attempting to sell or solicit the sale of a ticket(s) (even at face value) on campus without a permit violates University policy.

How can I have someone else pick up my tickets?

E-tickets can be transferred at any time by logging into your account before the event. After accessing “Your Orders,” clicking the order will allow you to text or email the tickets to another individual.

Tickets ordered by the general public, faculty, or alums can be picked up by a third party if the request is made at the time of the order. Any requests for third party pickup after the initial order must be made to the ticket office prior to the event.

Is it possible to transfer my season tickets to any person?

Yes. If you would like to transfer tickets to an individual game, visit If you are interested in permanently transferring all or some of your season tickets, so that someone else becomes the season ticket holder for those seats, please contact the Kent State Athletics Ticket Office at or calling the main phone number at 330-672-4455.

How do I change my email or home address?

You have the ability to update any pertinent personal information on your profile. You can click the drop down menu after logging in and selecting the “Edit Profile” option and make any/all necessary changes.

You may also mail a copy of your current driver's license with address corrections to the Kent State Athletic Ticket Office 1025 Risman Drive Kent, OH 44242. Please list your old address as well as your new one so we may accurately identify your record.

What events do faculty and staff get reduced price tickets?

Full-Time Faculty/Staff Discount:
Full-time, permanent Kent State University faculty and staff members receive a discounted pre-sale “Advance Ticket” for all home football and men’s basketball games. Faculty/staff must follow the current process to obtain season tickets for all sports if they wish, which may involve a donation or deposit. For more information visit To receive this discount, log in to the main Ticket Office home page using your university email ending in .edu and you will see the “KSU Faculty/Staff” ticket option for the relevant events.

Faculty/Staff only receive their discount for pre-purchasing their tickets through the website using the “KSU Faculty/Staff” ticket option on the selected events, or by calling the main office phone number at 330-672-4455 or using the extension 24455 on a campus phone. The discount will not apply for walk-up sales unless a valid KSU FlashCard is presented to the Athletics Ticket Office salesperson for these events.

How do I get hospitality benefits for home contests?

Hospitality benefits for sports can be obtained though donations and eligibility gifts to The Golden Flashes Club operating out of our Office of Athletic Advancement. Gifts of $250 or more are eligible to receive benefits. What do I do if I want to bring a group for an outing?

Group rates are available for all the ticketed sports offered at Kent State. For football, group rates are available for 15 or more tickets purchased at one time. All other sports will have a requirement of 10 or more tickets purchased at once for the group rate. If you would like to bring a group to a game, please contact Andrew Hammond at 330-672-4269 or by emailing to coordinate the sale.

What is the return/cancelation policy for games?

Kent State University Intercollegiate Athletics reserves the right to change, at it’s sole discretion, the starting time and date of the event; such changes will not entitle the holder of a refund of the purchase price of a ticket or another ticket. Mid-American Conference contests are subject to change based on MAC discretion. Only if an event is canceled will a refund be possible. Other changes of dates and times could be due to weather or restrictions put in place due to CoVID-19, and games will be made up at a later date
when possible.
